Registration
Practice has started but registration is still open for the 2011-12 season and will run through the first three weeks of practice, until Nov 11th. For football players still in the playoffs, you can register late but please register before Nov 11th so we can order shorts/shirts. Please download the registration form here and send it in to the address provided on the form or bring it to practice. It is highly encouraged to sign up before practice starts to ensure basic techniques are not missed.
You will also need to purchase a USA Wrestling card from Team Georgia Wrestling. Those are $35 are available on the Team Georgia website here: https://www.teamgeorgiawrestling.com/cards (chose Folkstyle as the form of wrestling).
Who can wrestle?
Pope Jr. Wrestling is for elementary and middle school students ages 5-14. While we are a feeder program for Pope High School, those not in the Pope district are welcome to join us. All shapes and sizes are encouraged as wrestlers will compete by both age group and weight class. Please visit our Frequently Asked Questions section for more details.
